The Oberhof Biathlon World Cup Sees Speedy Development of its Hospitality Structure
On February 7, the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup will start in Oberhof. More than 30 countries will compete in various disciplines for the Biathlon World Championship. Neptunus is building a hospitality structure of almost 2,000 m2 with two floors for 950 VIP guests and 200 media representatives for the prestigious tournament.
The Oberhofer Sport and Event GmbH has chosen Neptunus’ Evolution for the event. This structure boasts excellent insulation values and is well-suited for events in winter conditions. The Evolution has been used for many years for large winter sports events, such as the Spengler Cup in Davos and Hahnenkammrennen in Kitzbühel.
Martin Stemerdink, Sales Manager of Neptunus: “We are happy that The Oberhofer Sport and Event GmbH has trusted us to provide our Evolution structure. The construction is progressing well and we look forward to delivering and showcasing our structure during the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup.”
