Neptunus wins award for ‘Best Temporary Structure Supplier’ at the Event Production Awards
The new ground-breaking hospitality structure for the LTA cinch Championships resulted in the award for ‘Best temporary structure supplier’ at the Event Production Awards of Access All Areas on the 16th of February at Twickenham Stadium.
Neptunus provided a two-storey Evolution II structure totalling 3,300 square meters for the LTA’S South Pavilion. The structure was predominantly for hospitality including a VIP restaurant, Partners Suites, alongside public areas for dining and refreshments. Space was also set aside within the facility for a sound-proofed media centre for sports journalists and broadcasters while outdoor hospitality areas were also created.
Ben Keast, managing director of Neptunus: “The whole Neptunus team pulled together and produced a fantastic delivery for this project, and we are honored that this has been awarded. We thank the LTA for their trust and look forward to further developing our structure for their event together in the coming years.”
For 2022 the LTA was finally able to open the gates to full capacity with Neptunus required to virtually double the size of its spectacular hospitality structure at London’s famous Queen’s Club to cope with the increased number of spectators. The LTA had originally commissioned Neptunus in 2019 to create a new flagship hospitality pavilion for the championship. However, the pandemic saw the 2020 tournament cancelled and the 2021 edition had to go ahead with reduced capacity because of Covid restrictions.
