Neptunus builds unique exhibition stands for international manufacturers
Bauma is the world’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment. The newest innovations in the industry from all over the world can be found here.
In 2022, the 33rd edition of Bauma took place. This edition attracted over 495,000 visitors from over 200 different countries. As many as 3,200 exhibitors from 60 different nationalities were present at the Munich fair.
For the seven-day exhibition, international stand builders and architects design the most unique presentations, showrooms and exhibition spaces for well-known construction equipment manufacturers such as Hitachi, Keestrack and Hyundai. Neptunus was approached to build the temporary exhibition spaces for all of these projects as well as others across the site.
4,100 m2 of temporary showrooms
Neptunus built 10 exhibition spaces for well-known international suppliers providing a total of 4,100 m2 of temporary showrooms across the Bauma fair. Neptunus mainly used the Evolution structure equipped with mezzanine floor and terrace floor to make optimal use of client’s available space. As well as the Evolution structures, Neptunus also provided a number of its Alure Globe structures.
A team of 25 assembly workers spent 5 weeks building 12 temporary structures. It demanded precise logistical planning so that the right materials could be delivered at the right time and all the buildings were built as efficiently and sustainably as possible.
Completely branded in the exhibitor’s style
For complete branding and interior design freedom, Neptunus’ Evolution is the perfect temporary structure. Using a hydraulic lift system, this building is assembled quickly and efficiently and without the need for cranes. There are many options for designing the building in the exhibitor’s style, both on the inside and outside. For example, at Bauma show, the Evolution buildings were fitted with exterior cladding and LED screens. Inside, they were decorated with flooring, furniture, planting, reception areas and catering facilities.
The Alure Globe structures were used for exhibitors with a smaller exhibition space. The roof skins and gables of the Alure Globe can be fully printed and the wall panels can be covered on the inside and outside with additional panels and graphics.
The Verdict
“The great thing about Bauma is the cooperation with many parties,” says Dorrie Eilers, director of Neptunus. “The architect or stand builder has an idea and is looking for a structure to implement it. We are happy to live up to expectations and be part of the high-quality presentations and products of major suppliers.”
